We sat down recently with Trusted Herd CEO & Founder Brian Fox to discuss our new alliance, how he leverages his expertise in the field marketing space to serve his customers, and the importance of reputation when it comes to staffing events.

“After spending over a decade in the agency world, I started Trusted Herd seven and a half years ago to address the need for really high-quality workers to use the strength of their reputation - instead of collection of logos in a job resume - to get more opportunities,” Brian explains.
“I remember one of our brand ambassadors running laps around more experienced people, and she contacted me a couple weeks later and said she was having a hard time finding her next gig,” Brian says. “And I was like ‘How? You should be booked every day, you’re that good.’” Hiring experiences like those (both good and bad) inspired Brian to create a jobs platform where trust is at the forefront.
That focus on reputation has made Trusted Herd the premier event gig job marketplace. Trusted Herd now boasts:
- 3,000 companies and 70,000 workers registered,
- Over 7,000 monthly event job listings, and
- An average of 33 qualified applicants for every event gig posted.
“Our marketplace is only for event jobs,” Brian says, “So every worker that signs up, they have a big interest in events - that means candidates right off the bat are of a much higher quality than general job sites.” When combined with reputation scoring, that’s a win for all parties involved.

“In my agency days, I worked with MainEvent extensively,” Brian recalls, “And that was my first experience in managing software, and seeing how software should be managed.” He took those lessons into his own venture, and the level of trust he has in the Network Ninja team after 18 years working alongside them made MainEvent a natural fit for Trusted Herd.
